Established as a meeting space in Medellín, Taller 7 is known for fostering discussion and reflection on different topics dealing with art practices, thus shedding light on a variety of issues.
The aim of Taller 7 is “the creation of new avenues for interaction between artists, processes and the public, as opposed to the static, closed circuits offered by institutional spaces”. The team is made up of Carlos Carmona, Mauricio Carmona, Paola Gaviria, Adriana María Pineda and Julián Urrego.
As a host space for MDE11, Taller 7 will be receiving two projects: Club del Dibujo and Estación Tijuana. Both collectives will be conducting various activities that will be presented to different audiences around the city.
