The MDE15 mediation plan designs and\u00a0enables spaces, contents and pedagogies\u00a0aimed at promoting and assessing experiences\u00a0coming from the exchange proposed by the\u00a0artworks and projects of the Encounter. It acts\u00a0as a connection among some artistic practices\u00a0and different interest groups, the places where\u00a0it is implemented and the stage of the process of\u00a0the artworks involved. In this regard, the goals of\u00a0this Mediation Plan are aimed at making participants\u00a0become interested in current art events\u2014by simultaneously giving feedback on the workof artists and collectives. Another concern is the\u00a0specialized deepening on social issues linked to\u00a0the Encounter project as a whole.<\/p>\n
In support of what has been described, the\u00a0Mediation Plan allows the development of\u00a0academic modules that are based around the\u00a0five core topics of the exhibition and the public\u00a0talks with the guest artists in spaces other\u00a0than Museo de Antioquia. Several local cultural\u00a0agents are also involved in these talks.<\/p>\n
In order to consolidate and create the mediation\u00a0team, a Mediation Laboratory is proposed. This\u00a0Laboratory builds strategies and actions to\u00a0generate knowledge through interaction with the\u00a0public, the artworks and the artistic processes\u00a0of the Encounter. Thus, The Laboratory proposes\u00a0a figure of mediator close to the figure of\u00a0\u201ccommunity-based researcher\u201d, who is able to\u00a0promote collective and collaborative inquiries,\u00a0and at the same time replicate them, in a creative\u00a0and critical way, in every open space intended\u00a0for the MDE15 in Medell\u00edn.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
